Student Week conducted in Tsorona sub-zone

Along with efforts to enable youths in remote areas benefit from vocational training and strengthen their organization, Student Week was conducted in Tsorono sub-zone February 1-2. Tsorona, 7 February 2012 – Along with efforts to enable youths in remote areas benefit from vocational training and strengthen their organization, Student Week was conducted in Tsorono sub-zone February 1-2.
Cultural and sports competitions, as well as works of art were presented on the occasion highlighting the skills of the students.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students, Mr. Sultan Seid, said that the Union is striving to enhance the skills of the youth in remote areas, and indicated that books would be sent to such areas so as to enhance the reading habit of the youth.

Meanwhile, the Administrator of Tsorona sub-zone, Mr. Tesfamariam Teame, explained that it is the responsibility of all nationals to strive for enriching the political and scientific knowledge of Eritrean youth, and indicated that a youth center is under construction in the area.
