Efforts being stepped up to enhance women’s all-round participation

Vigorous efforts are being made to enhance women’s all-round participation, according to the head of the National Union of Eritrean Women branch in the region, Ms. Fatma Osman. Foro, 9 February 2012- Vigorous efforts are being made to enhance women’s all-round participation, according to the head of the National Union of Eritrean Women branch in the region, Ms. Fatma Osman.

She indicated that continued campaign is being undertaken to raise women’s awareness in the region has registered satisfactory outcome.Ms. Fatma further indicated that a number of training programs are organized for the benefit of women in the area, so as they may improve their living standard. She also reminded the public to make due contribution to endeavors for tackling the problem of underage marriage.

One of the beneficiaries of the training program, Ms. Hiwet Ogbamichael, said that thanks to such initiative she has managed to upgrade her lifestyle.
