Wegret Boarding School playing significant role in raising students’ enrolment

The modern Wegret Boarding School in Nacfa has created the opportunity of continuing their education for the students who were forced to dropout due to economic problems and far distance of their villages from the school and is playing significant role in raising students’ enrolment, stated director of the school, Mr. Amanuel  Zerai.  Nacfa, 13 February 2012 – The modern Wegret Boarding School in Nacfa has created the opportunity of continuing their education for the students who were forced to dropout due to economic problems and far distance of their villages from the school and is playing significant role in raising students’ enrolment, stated director of the school, Mr. Amanuel  Zerai.

The junior school which was built in 2000 is rendering service to 700 students has classrooms, dormitory and cafeteria, among others. He further said that students are provided with education materials and other necessities by the school so as to enable them to continue their studies without getting worried with financial problems.

Mr. Amanuael explaining that the teachers are making relentless efforts to alleviate the social problems of students who come from various remote areas, and the fact that school stood among the top best schools in the results of Grade 8 examination demonstrates their endeavors.

He also stressed the need to construct library and computer center, and called on parents to send their children to school.
