Mr. Mohammed Ahmed, an exemplary farmer in Daarotai administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, said with initiative and hard work everything is attainable. Hagaz, 13 February 2012 – Mr. Mohammed Ahmed, an exemplary farmer in Daarotai administrative area, Hagaz sub-zone, said with initiative and hard work everything is attainable.

He pointed out that because he could not get any return with the business he was doing, he shifted to agriculture and he is engaged in cultivating fruits, vegetables and green animal feed in 9 hectares and he is managing to harvest encouraging products.  Mr. Mohammed further explained that at present he has 80 cattle, 300 sheep and goats, 100 camels, and that he is supplying 65 liters of milk to the markets of Keren and Hagaz.

Moreover, he stated that he has a plan to setup milk and milk products factory in Daarotai.
