Shambko, 21 February 2012 – The construction of modern schools every year in Shambuko sub-zone is becoming a driving force in ensuring capacity and distribution of educational activities, disclosed Mr. Idris Gala, supervisor in the sub-zone.
He explained that to alleviate the problem that existed in Shambuko zub-zone, new schools in Telegemja and Dembe Asmara have been built in the past two years, and that additional rooms in Bushuka and the construction of a High School in Shambuko semi-urban are underway.
He further explained that in Shambuko additional rooms at the junior and Secondary School as well as teachers training center are under constructed.
Mr. Ahmed Selo, resident of Shambuko said on his part that previously students and teachers were unable to perform proper educational activities due to shortage of facilities and expressed conviction that with the modern facility there would take place better teaching and learning process.
Similarly, Teacher Yonatan Kiflemariam said that the completion of the teachers training center would contribute to capacity building as regards the teaching learning process besides being a good opportunity for the zub-zone.
