Southern Region: Relationship among parents, students and the school plays due role in educational competence

At an educational meeting conducted on 20 -21 February, it has been indicated that the relationship of parents with the school and their children plays a due role in teaching- learning process. Mendefera, 23 February 2012 – At an educational meeting conducted on 20 -21 February, it has been indicated that the relationship of parents with the school and their children plays a due role in teaching- learning process.

The head of the branch office of the Ministry of Education in the region, Mr. Kaleab Tesfaslasie, pointed out that if every director could identify the strength and weakness of the respective students it would play a vital role in of teaching -learning process; he further expressed gratitude to the parents for their motivation and support.

At the end of the meeting, the director of social service in the Southern region, Mr. Tesfatsion Girmai, pointed out that besides the windows of educational opportunities opened for the children in remote areas and raising the participation of women in education, the administrations should make tremendous efforts towards developing the teaching – learning process.
