Hagaz, 5 March 2012 – Student enrolment in Hagaz sub-zone is making encouraging progress as a result of the awareness raising campaign by parents and teachers, stated the supervisor, Mr. Idris Abdu.
Students Nebila Mohammed, Islah Hamed and Sophia Hamed commended the Government’s endeavors to spread educational opportunities nationwide.
Teacher Idris who said some of the bottlenecks are the absence of sufficient regrouping of villages and classroom constraints in the sub-zone, among others. Moreover, illiteracy eradication campaign is being stepped up in the sub-zone.
There exist 26 schools ranging from kindergarten to High School, and 10,744 students are getting educational opportunity.
