NUEW branch in Gash-Barka region provides incentive to outstanding female students

The NUEW branch in   Gash-Barka region provided incentive to female students from Middle and High Schools for their outstanding performance in the academic and sports aspects. Barentu, 8 March 2012 – The NUEW branch in   Gash-Barka region provided incentive to female students from Middle and High Schools for their outstanding performance in the academic and sports aspects.

Ms. Alem Belai, head of the branch, explained that the program is conducted in all Middle Schools in general and in schools where there exists low performance of female students in particular, and that it has positive value in creating competitiveness and self-confidence among female students.

Teacher Zahra Saleh, from Mogoraib School, on her part indicated that the program has registered satisfactory outcome in her area and called for the sustainability of the program.

Likewise, teachers Adem Osman and Ibrahim Humed noted the significance of the program in nurturing outstanding and competitive students and reaffirmed determination to work to this end.
