Hagaz inhabitants conduct soil and water conservation activities

The inhabitants of Adelat area, around Hagaz town are engeaged in constructing terraces at Itabir Mountain. Hagaz, 14 March 2012 – The inhabitants of Adelat area, around Hagaz town are engeaged in constructing terraces at Itabir Mountain.

Mr. Abdel Nur Mohammed, Administrator of the area, explained that the objective of the campaign is to promote soil and water conservation as well as reforestation, and that in the next rainy season different seedlings would be planted.

Among the participants, Mr. Mohammed Adem, Ms. Meida Omar and Ms. Jemiya Dawoud, commending the participation of the inhabitants in general and that of women in particular, said that the undertaking would continue with strong organization.
