The residents of Rikeb, Sel’a semi-urban center, said that the service- rendering institutions put in place in the area are contributing to the development there and improving their life. Sel’a, 15 March 2012- The residents of Rikeb, Sel’a semi-urban center, said that the service- rendering institutions put in place in the area are contributing to the development there and improving their life.
They told ERINA that because of their regrouping they have managed to develop trade activities and raise their income, and that the residential housing complexes under construction would have substantial impact on the development of the semi-urban center.
Among the residents, Mr. Saleh Ekud and Ms. Fatima Ismail explained that they are satisfied with the provision of services and called for the installation of mobile telephones and electricity supply.
Mr. Mohammed Hassen, Administrator of the semi-urban center, indicated that there exist schools ranging from kindergarten to Middle School, health center and provision of potable water. He further called for the increase of service -rendering institutions alongside with the growth of population in the semi-urban center.
