Farmers in Adi Seldait provided with agricultural facilities

The Administration of Debarwa sub-zone has provided agricultural implements worth 250,000 Nakfa as motivation to the exemplary work undertaken in soil and water conservation by farmers in Adi Seldait. Debarwa, 16 March 2012 – The Administration of Debarwa sub-zone has provided agricultural implements worth 250,000 Nakfa as motivation to the exemplary work undertaken in soil and water conservation by farmers in Adi Seldait.

The head of administration and finance in the sub-zone, Mr. Gidey Estifanos, said that the motivation items include 260 carts, hammers, spades, and the like. The head of the Agriculture Ministry’s branch office, Mr. Debesai Gebregziabher, said that soil and water conservation activities of farmers in Adi Seldait are playing significant role in raising income. The farmers appreciated the sub-zonal administration for the motivation.

Adi Seldait is located 18 Km. northwest of Debarwa.
