Training underway to upgrade work of tourism service-rendering enterprises

Mr. Tekle Frezgi, head of the training center in the Ministry of Tourism, said that training is being given to upgrade the work of tourist service- rendering enterprises. Asmara, 16 March 2012 – Mr. Tekle Frezgi, head of the training center in the Ministry of Tourism, said that training is being given to upgrade the work of tourist service- rendering enterprises.

He pointed out that the objective of the training is upgrade the work of tourism service rendering enterprises, and thereby developed domestic tourism. The topics under the program include good hosting practices in Fastfood centers and bars, administration and use of the concerned enterprises and language training, among others

Sesuna Haile, from among the trainers, indicated that the program would make due contribution in improving the skill of hotel staff and related tasks.

Reports indicate that Asmara Hotel and Tourism Training Centre has so far given training courses to 2,000 individuals in 21 rounds.
