The inhabitants of remote areas in the sub-zone expressed satisfaction with the enhancement of the program. Among the inhabitants of Laqien, Mr. Desale Tekle said that he faced no problem to pay back the credit for he makes good use of it through the training he got.
Mr. Semere Teklehaimanot and Ms. Letekidan Tesfu who engage in animal breeding and commercial activities through the credit they get said that they are making satisfactory headway towards improving their living standard.
The head of the savings and credit program in the sub-zone, Mr. Gebru Abai, stated that 617 nationals have already secured credit amounting to over 4 million Nakfa in 2011 and that 85% has been repaid.
