Participants of 43rd SCSA Conference appreciate Eritrea’s hospitality

The participants of the 43rd conference of the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA) which was held in Asmara from March 14 to 17 expressed appreciation for the hospitality accorded them.

Asmara, 20 March 2012 – The participants of the 43rd conference of the Supreme Council for Sports in Africa (SCSA) which was held in Asmara from March 14 to 17 expressed appreciation for the hospitality accorded them.

The participants from different countries lauded the people and Government of Eritrea for the contribution and full cooperation towards ensuring the success of the conference.

In the course of the conference which was held at Asmara Palace, the Commissioner of the Secretariat General of the SCSA, Mr. Santone Kashiban, and the Honorary President of the SCSA, Sultan Ibrahim, hailed the efforts of the people and Government of Eritrea for the convening of the conference in the beautiful city of Asmara.

The 42nd SCSA conference was held in Maputo, capital of Mozambique, in 2011.

The SCSA was established in 1965 in the Congolese capital of Brazzaville, as the “African Committee of Sports” and the new name was given to it in 1976.
