Eden, 20 March 2012 – The residents of Eden semi-urban center, Elabered sub-zone expressed resolve to participate in development programs in the area aimed at enriching surface and underground water, and thereby ensure food security and animal feed.
In a meeting they held with EDF members engaged in construction of two dams on Balwa River, Adi Berbere Administrative area, indicated their resolve to live up to expectations for the success of the program. The residents further reiterated that in order to build a developed nation strong and united popular participation needs to be reinforced.
Religious elders, Woldeselasie Fesehaye and Sheik Abdu Amar, appreciating the activities being carried out by the youth, said that such popular determination should be further strengthened
Ms. Nebiat Tekeste on her part stated that the residents of the semi-urban center have become beneficiaries of social services, and that they would enhance participation for the success of programs being implemented by the youth.
Likewise, Capt. Mengis Beyene appreciated the encouragement the people are providing to EDF members in their development endeavors and expressed deep satisfaction with the prevailing harmony between the Eritrean people and their leadership.
