The Central region yesterday graduated 18 of its employees who have been pursuing three months course in cooperation with the Ministry of Information on basic journalism, still and movie camera as well as documentation.
Asmara, 21 March 2012- The Central region yesterday graduated 18 of its employees who have been pursuing three months course in cooperation with the Ministry of Information on basic journalism, still and movie camera as well as documentation.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Mr. Mekuria Woldu, director general of external service, explained that it is for the second time that the Central region is graduating trainees in journalism, and urged the graduates to practically develop their skills and experience and to properly document activities as well as disseminate true and timely information on activities conducted in their region.
Mr. Amare Misgina, representative of the graduates, said that they would develop the training they received through practice and reaffirmed that they would actively apply in practice the training. He also thanked the institutions that afforded them the opportunity.
Mr. Kahsai Gebrehiwet, Administrator of Central region, after handing over certificates to the trainees and trainers reminded the graduates to further develop their skills and carry out duties with discipline and dedication.
