Inhabitants of Shelab Administrative area express satisfaction with provision of potable water supply

The inhabitants of Sheleb Administrative area, Agordat sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the provision of potable water supply. They explained that they are getting uninterrupted supply and that their problem has been solved. Sheleb, 21 March 2012- The inhabitants of Sheleb Administrative area, Agordat sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the provision of potable water supply. They explained that they are getting uninterrupted supply and that their problem has been solved.

Mr. Saleh Osman indicated that before the implementation of the project the inhabitants were compelled to travel for two hours in search of water, but now the problem is no more. Ms. Kedija Ibrahim on her part stated that the problem women in particular used to face has been tackled and that they have managed to obtaining potable water in their village.

Likewise, Mr. Mohammed Ahmed said that the project is a vivid example of the Government’s effort to improve the lifestyle of the people and reminded beneficiaries to properly utilize and maintain the facility.

Sheleb Administrative area is located 52 km. North-east of Agordat.
