Inhabitants of Embeito express readiness to properly utilize dam

The inhabitants of Embeito, Central region, expressed readiness to properly utilize the dam which is under construction at an expense of 8 million Nakfa in order to tackle the problem of potable water and  expand vegetable farming to the desired level.

Embeito, 22 March 2012 – The inhabitants of Embeito, Central region, expressed readiness to properly utilize the dam which is under construction at an expense of 8 million Nakfa in order to tackle the problem of potable water and  expand vegetable farming to the desired level.

Ms. Aregash Solomon said that the inhabitants are eagerly waiting for the finalization of the dam construction so that they may conduct commendable follow-up in general, and women be involved in the development of vegetable farming without being confined to household chorus.

The Administrator of Embeito Administrative area, Mr. Qudus Estifanos, pointed out that the dam would provide service to 240 families, and that it is envisaged to cultivate 30 hectares.
