Efforts underway to put in place comprehensive social service facilities in Goluj sub-zone

The Administration of Goluj sub-zone stated that efforts are being exerted to put in place comprehensive social service facilities in the locality. Mr. Omer Mohammed, Administrator of the sub-zone, who notified that the community’s livelihood could by and large be improved through the health, education, transport and other significant social service facilities made available in the locality, explained that efforts underway in the area aim at the enhancement of such facilities.

Goluj, 5 April 2012 – The Administration of Goluj sub-zone stated that efforts are being exerted to put in place comprehensive social service facilities in the locality. Mr. Omer Mohammed, Administrator of the sub-zone, who notified that the community’s livelihood could by and large be improved through the health, education, transport and other significant social service facilities made available in the locality, explained that efforts underway in the area aim at the enhancement of such facilities.

He further explained that high schools were built in the semi-urban centers of Goluj and Omhajer taking into account the distribution of students. Mr. Omer also called on parents to supplement the endeavors being made to boost school participation and the performance of students.

The Administration of the sub-zone indicated that the undertakings on priority basis are the construction of dams and micro-dams along with the expansion of electricity supply and mobile service. It also disclosed that these initiatives have created ample job opportunities.
