The inhabitants of Hadida, Segeneiti sub-zone, indicated that the Community Hospital in Engela, in their vicinity, is ensuring commendable service.
Segeneiti, 5 April 2012 – The inhabitants of Hadida, Segeneiti sub-zone, indicated that the Community Hospital in Engela, in their vicinity, is ensuring commendable service.
Among the inhabitants, Rev. Kidane Hagos and Ms. Zewdi Woldegiorgis expressed satisfaction with the ambulance service in the area, the hospitality of the hospital’s staff members and the counseling service being rendered. Ms. Tirhas Abraha, who delivered recently in the Community Hospital, equally commended the service she got.
Dr. Kibrom Tsegai, a physician in the hospital, stated that the remote areas in the locality have been beneficiaries of reliable medical service and that various community sensitization activities undertaken as regards behavioral change have registered positive outcome.
The Community Hospital in Engela, 28 km. west of Segeneiti, incorporates maternity department, laboratory, pediatric department, 43 patient beds and has 19 health professionals.
