Shambuko sub-zone: Inhabitants pledge to reinforce development endeavors

The inhabitants of Garmi, Alala, Tsibra and Shehate Administrative areas and residents of the semi-urban center of Shambuko expressed readiness to back up national development drive during a dinner they arranged in honor of the Army members who were engaged in various development undertakings in the area.

Shambuko, April 10, 2012 – The inhabitants of Garmi, Alala, Tsibra and Shehate Administrative areas and residents of the semi-urban center of Shambuko expressed readiness to back up national development drive during a dinner they arranged in honor of the Army members who were engaged in various development undertakings in the area.

The Administrators of Garmi and Alala Administrative areas explained that the occasion aimed at reflecting the community’s zeal to buoy up the nation’s development program and encouraging EDF members to sustain their endeavors. They also expressed conviction that several development programs implemented in the locality have been a stepping stone for the community to improve its livelihood by taking advantage of obtainable resources.

Among the inhabitants of the sub-zone, Ms. Letemichael Abraha and Ms. Nigisti Atsmet, asserted that development programs in the locality are demonstrating progress and that the community’s livelihood has accordingly improved. They also expressed confidence to work hard so as to supplement the on-going development endeavors.

Ms. Amete Tesfagiorgis equally expressed conviction that such endeavors are a springboard to a bright future and commended the Army members’ outstanding input in the national development drive.
