The Ministry of Health has called on the inhabitants of Central Denkalia, Southern Denkalia and Araeta sub-zones to practice efficient utilization of the health facilities in the Southern Red Sea region.
Assab, 13 April, 2012 – The Ministry of Health has called on the inhabitants of Central Denkalia, Southern Denkalia and Araeta sub-zones to practice efficient utilization of the health facilities in the Southern Red Sea region.
Mr. Asefaw Gebremichael, head of the Ministry’s branch in the region, in meetings he held with community representatives, elders, religious leaders, traditional labor attendants, community health representatives and local Administrators, called on the inhabitants to focus on sustainable utilization of the health facilities in their respective localities.
Meanwhile, he explained that the majority of the communicable diseases have been controlled as effective promotional activities were carried out by the Ministry.
The participants on their part called on the Health Ministry to sustain endeavors in undertaking campaigns as regards boosting the community’s awareness regarding health.
