Tewro inhabitants renovate the road to their village

The inhabitants of Tewro, Segeneiti sub-zone, accomplished the renovation of the 16 km-long Halibo-Tewro road through mobilizing financial and labor resources. Segeneiti, 16 April 2012 – The inhabitants of Tewro, Segeneiti sub-zone, accomplished the renovation of the 16 km-long Halibo-Tewro road through mobilizing financial and labor resources.

Out of the participants, Mr. Teklebirhan Mesfin and Mr. Gebrehiwet Woldegebriel, said that they have been enduring a lot of difficulty as regards transportation due to lack of reliable road to the locality. They also indicated that the campaign, which was accompanied by machinery, was successful and rewarding. Ms. Tinsae Tewolde on her part asserted that the community members demonstrated active participation in the undertaking.

Among the coordinators of the campaign, Mr. Habtu Debas, commended the financial, material and moral contribution made by natives of the locality residing in urban areas and in the Diaspora.

Tewro is located 20 km. south-east of Segeneiti.
