Land plots to be allotted in Adi-Nefas for residential purpose

Residential land plots would be allotted to 2,290 natives of Adi-Nefas, Akria Administrative area, based on tiesa land tenure system.

Asmara, 18 April, 2012 – Residential land plots would be allotted to 2,290 natives of Adi-Nefas, Akria Administrative area, based on tiesa land tenure system.

Mr. Zecarias Gebresilase, chairman of the village’s committee, explained that the tiesa land distribution committee in the village has been working in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Water and Environment. He further explained that the task has been completed and that distribution of the land plots would begin in the near future.

Reports indicate that Adi-Nefas semi-urban center, which is located 5 Km. north of Asmara has 13,000 residents.
