Health Center in Shambuko secures 24-hour electricity supply

Shambuko, 19 April, 2012 – The Health Center in Shambuko semi-urban center is in a position to utilize 24-hour electricity supply through solar panels.

Mr. Haile Abraham, head of the health center, who expressed conviction that the basic quandary in the health institution has been overcome, indicated that they could effectively render laboratory, VCT, maternity and pediatric services both for in-patients and out-patients.  He further indicated that the health center has been working through community health representatives to render first-aid services and implement malaria prevention devices in the outlying Administrative areas of Mai-Lam, Dembe’smera, Ambori, Enda-Romadi and Shihate.
