Strengthening investment on sports activities for nurturing capable youth

Mr. Mohammed Abdalla, Chairperson of sports committee of Northern Red Sea region, expressed the importance of strengthening investment for nurturing physically and mentally capable youth that preserves values of the society.    Massawa, 22 April 2012- Mr. Mohammed Abdalla, Chairperson of sports committee of Northern Red Sea region, expressed the importance of strengthening investment for nurturing physically and mentally capable youth that preserves values of the society.

Regarding the sports preparations the youths are undergoing to be able participate at the sports competitions to be held at the 5th National Youth Festival in the coming July, Mr. Mohammed expressed satisfaction on the training they are conducting to showcase the talent of the youths in modern and cultural sports at the national festival and that efforts are being exerted to ensure equal participation of the youths.

He expressed his hope to see strong spirit of competition for all regions would compete within each other to reach to final at the festival and appreciated the support provided by partners for the success of the program.

Mr. Abdalla Hassan, Chairperson of the 5th National Youth Festival Committee of the region, indicated that the sports preparations is progressing well and that a ground has been created in which the youths could transfer their knowledge and experience among each other.

The 5th National Youth Festival 2012 will be conducted in the coming July in Sawa.
