Keren, 24 April, 2012 – The Education Ministry’s branch in Keren sub-zone stated that Student and Youth Week is a foundation for knowledge and exchange of experience, and that integrated participation is essential on the part of schools, government agencies and pertinent organizations.
Mr. Fikadu Gebrehawariat, head of the Ministry’s branch in Keren sub-zone, explained that such an event is a basis of multi-dimensional potentials of students, and that the pertinent bodies would work hard to reinforce their impact of such an occasion. Report indicated that sports and cultural activities featured during the Student Youth Week besides fairs, seminars and handicraft exhibitions.
Mr. Luwiji Hussein, head of the NUEYS branch in Anseba region, stated on the occasion that youths equipped with education and professionalism constitute a potent productive force. He also called for integrated endeavors by parents and concerned institutions in bequeathing the legacies of national and social values to the youth and enhancing their capacity to build a prosperous nation.
