The inhabitants of Homib Administrative area, Forto-Sawa sub-zone, witnessed settled lifestyle and satisfactory benefit from social service facilities after beginning to lead community-based style of living in selected areas.
Forto-Sawa, 26 April, 2012 – The inhabitants of Homib Administrative area, Forto-Sawa sub-zone, witnessed settled lifestyle and satisfactory benefit from social service facilities after beginning to lead community-based style of living in selected areas. They further indicated that previously they could not efficiently utilize the educational, health, telephone service and potable water supply facilities put in place in the locality.
Among the inhabitants, Ms. Haja Humed, expressed conviction that social service facilities in the area have remarkably improved the livelihood of the community.
Mr. Mohammed Idris Musa equally expressed conviction that they are presently in a position to avoid time wastage resulting from exhaustive activities like fetching water and lack of mobile telephone service.
Mr. Wehaj Osman, Administrator of Homib Administrative area, pointed out that endeavors as regards facilitation of community-based style of living in the locality, in which nomadic pattern of living used to be predominant, have been effective.
