Asmara, 30 April 2012 – In a commentary it made on the occasion of May Day observances, the National Confederation of Eritrean Workers (NCEW) said that the Eritrean society is in a position to maintain a reliable direction towards ensuring economic development in contrast with the prevailing trend of global economic meltdown.
Elaborating that the Eritrean political system rests on a clearly mapped out economic system, the Confederation pointed out that human resource is the greatest capital in the nation, and that considerable endeavor is underway to ensure sustainable development on the basis of human capital through employing technological advantages.
The commentary further underlined that careful and balanced handling should be ensured as regards labor and workers along with reliable evaluation measurements.
May Day is being is being marked in Eritrea under the theme “There is nothing unachievable through labor and laborers” for the 21st time and for the 122nd globally.
