Afambo, 2 May 2012 – The Administration of the elementary school in Afambo Administrative area said that the participation of females in education is on the rise.

Mr. Mohammed Eid, director of the semi-boarding school, indicated that growing parent awareness as regards education has resulted in the remarkable outcome, and that female students in the locality have become academically competent.

One of the students, Halima Mahie, asserted that parents in the locality are encouraging their children to attend school as a result of impressive awareness regarding the importance of education.

Likewise, Nuha Gab’ad explained that the charisma of professionals emerging from the community itself has played significant role in swaying parent appreciation towards education.
