The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) branch in the Northern Red Sea region has rehabilitated 18 members in She’ib sub-zone on the basis of 180,000 Nakfa donation made by its members in Stuttgart, Germany. Massawa, 3 May 2012 – The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) branch in the Northern Red Sea region has rehabilitated 18 members in She’ib sub-zone on the basis of 180,000 Nakfa donation made by its members in Stuttgart, Germany.
Mr. Mohammed Seid Ali, head of the branch office, said that Association members who were rehabilitated in the same way in the region have upgraded their livelihood through supplementing the opportunity with concrete efforts. He also called on the 18 members to use the opportunity as a stepping stone to self-reliance.
Among the beneficiaries, Ms. Halima Seid Ali and Idris Osman, commended the support the Association made and said that such an opportunity is a potential-stimulating element as regards assuring self-sufficiency in their lives.
Mr. Mahmoud Mohammed Omar in the same vein commended the Association for demonstrating a thoughtful attention towards them and said that they would work hard to improve their livelihood taking the latest support as a springboard.
Reports indicate that the ENWVA branch in the region rehabilitated a total of 60 members in the sub-zones of Afabet, Nakfa, Foro and She’ib since early 2011.
