Afambo, 3 May 2012 – The inhabitants of Afambo Administrative area expressed satisfaction with the health station in the locality being in a position to utilize 24-hour electricity supply through solar panels.
One of the inhabitants, Ms. Seida Halo, said that electricity supply shortage in the locality had put limitation to the services of the health station. However, in line with the availability of 24-hour electricity supply effective health services are being rendered in the locality.
Mr. Ali Mohammed on his part lauded medical professionals in the sub-zone for the work commitment they have been demonstrating.
Jimi’e Ibrahim, Associate Nurse in the health station, indicated that there were times when they had to treat medical cases according to their seriousness due to electricity supply shortage. In this connection he voiced appreciation for the government’s steadfastness in ensuring reliable social service facilities in remote areas.
