Inhabitants of Engel Administrative area express satisfaction with available medical service facilities
The inhabitants of Engel Administrative area, Gelalo sub-zone, expressed satisfaction with the health station in the locality. They commended the efforts being exerted by the health station to ensure adequate service in the prevention and diagnosis of diseases, patient treatment, as well as antenatal and maternal care. They commended the efforts being exerted by the health station to ensure adequate service in the prevention and diagnosis of diseases, patient treatment, as well as antenatal and maternal care.
Among the inhabitants, Ms. Fatima Mohammed Omar and Ms. Meryem Ali Nakuda, asserted that the incidence of various diseases has declined, besides mother and child mortality.
One of the health station’s staff members, Mr. Ibrahim Ahmed indicated that the health facilities made available in the locality have remarkably contributed to the wellbeing of the community, a demonstration of which he noted is the Government’s commitment to the development of remote areas. He also expressed conviction that increased endeavors regarding raising community awareness in the prevention of various diseases and judicious use of medical service facilities would result in better outcome.
