The Ministry of Trade and Industry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region said that it is exerting endeavors to ensure better services. Massawa, 14 May 2012 – The Ministry of Trade and Industry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region said that it is exerting endeavors to ensure better services.
Mr. Husein Hamoda, head of the branch office, explained that work procedures as regards trade have been reformed, and that license permit control system has attained customer-oriented effective level. Stating that the branch office has been operating in the 10 Administrative areas of the region through two offices in Massawa and Nakfa, he further pointed out that future undertaking by the Ministry would target the opening of new branch offices in Krora, Gelalo and Ginda respectively.
The Ministry’s branch in the Northern Red Sea region also indicated that gratifying outcome has been registered regarding the issuing and control of trade permits, besides accomplishments made to cope with modern trade system. It also stated that baseline studies are being made to extend marine trade.
