Indicating that the farmland plots were given by the Area administration in accordance with the goal of meeting local demand, they explained that the new agricultural activities have borne gratifying outcome.

Expanding irrigation farming activities have been a basis for improving the livelihood women in the locality, the farmers said. Explaining that fruits and vegetables farming entail relentless efforts, Mr. Osman Omar, one of the farmers, said that commendable harvest has been obtained through irrigation farming on the basis of Moga’e River.
