A number of nationals residing abroad expressed delight in celebrating the 21st anniversary of Independence Day here in the Homeland amidst compatriots.
Asmara, 16 May 2012 – A number of nationals residing abroad expressed delight in celebrating the 21st anniversary of Independence Day here in the Homeland amidst compatriots.
Mr. Estifanos Hadgembes, from Germeny, voiced deep impressions with the well embellished streets of Asmara City center, and asserted that the prevailing spirit of unity and perseverance among the Eritrean people and members of the EDF, along with the crystal clear vision of their leadership, would result in safeguarding the nation’s dignity forever.
Mr. Esaias Gidey, from the USA, on his part indicated that Eritrean communities in different US cities celebrate Eritrean Independence Day delightfully and expressed pleasure that he is celebrating Independence Day in the Homeland.
Likewise, Mr. Mohammed Sedig, from Qatar asserted that it involves double joy to celebrate Independence Day in the homeland amidst fellow citizens. He also said that Eritreans in every corner of the world ardently celebrate the Day.
Mr. Tekle Araya equally expressed conviction that Independence Day is a good basis to enjoy the prevalent spirit of harmony among the Eritrean people, and that it is being celebrated in a stage when the nation is looking ahead for a bright future.
Reports indicate that activities as regards the celebration of the 21st anniversary of Independence Day would get underway on May 17.
