Tourism-related businesses in Mendefera enhance service quality

A number of customers explained that tourism-related businesses in Mendefera have enhanced service quality in line with the common goal of fulfilling customer satisfaction. They further indicated that several new services have got underway by the institutions, and that orderly services are being rendered. Mendefera, 16 May 2012 – A number of customers explained that tourism-related businesses in Mendefera have enhanced service quality in line with the common goal of fulfilling customer satisfaction. They further indicated that several new services have got underway by the institutions, and that orderly services are being rendered.

One of the inhabitants, Mr. Abraham Tesfamichael, said that improvement of service quality is beneficial both to the service businesses and customers and called on the pertinent organizations to fortify the virtue of hospitality.

Mr. Kibreab Goniche and Mr. Yebio Marcos, restaurant and snack bar owners respectively, called for customer feedback regarding the overall enhancement of tourism service in the city.

Mr. Gebrehiwet Woldu, head of the Tourism Ministry’s branch in the Southern region, explained that the branch office has been organizing seminars and workshops to 145 tourism-related businesses with a view to stimulating improvement of service quality, and that the follow up procedure as regards service quality control has resulted in considerable step towards the achievement of the cherished goal. He also explained that even one out of the businesses was not punished for lack of proper service quality.
