Many Eritrean nationals from the Diaspora arriving in the Homeland to participate in Independence Day celebrations

A number of Eritreans residing abroad have arrived in the Homeland to take part in the 21st anniversary of Independence Day. Asmara, 19 May, 2012 – A number of Eritreans residing abroad have arrived in the Homeland to take part in the 21st anniversary of Independence Day.

Reports from a number of travel agencies and Airline organizations indicated that the arrival home of the nationals began last month, and that a total of 1,000 citizens living in Europe, America and the Middle East arrived here in the capital in the past two days.

Mr. Kaleab Fisehaye and Ms. Emnet Tedla from Germany and the US respectively expressed satisfaction with the development accomplishments that the nation has already registered and the fact that they are celebrating Independence Day amidst compatriots.

Similarly, Ms. Lucia Jibril, Mr. Yemane Berhane and Ms. Mehret Tsegai, from Kuwait, Canada and the US, voiced conviction that celebrating the great event here in the Homeland is by and far gratifying, and that they are fortunate for sharing the lofty spirit of the on-going celebration.

Ms. Tabotu Tsegai, Mr. Hadish Andemariam and Ms. Dehab Gebreyesus respectively asserted that Independence Day is being celebrated at a time when the country’s bright future is becoming ever more evident and when external conspiracies are ending up in failure.
