PFDJ Secretary calls for increased participation of youths towards ensuring nation’s lasting freedom and progress

Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed Seid, PFDJ Secretary, called for increased participation of youths towards ensuring nation’s lasting freedom and progress. Mr. Al-Amin made the call at a meeting he held in Massawa with youths in the Northern Red Sea region. Massawa, 19 May, 2012 – Mr. Al-Amin Mohammed Seid, PFDJ Secretary, called for increased participation of youths towards ensuring nation’s lasting freedom and progress. The PFDJ Secretary noted that Eritrea has been the target of invaders since the 16th Century due to its strategic and geo-political importance. In the face of external hostility the Eritrean people persistently upheld the virtues of Unity and harmony, thus rebuffing enemy conspiracies. Pointing out that enemy quarters have been weaving multifaceted designs aimed at weakening the nation. He underlined that the success of the leadership in ensuring the people’s unity has been the basis for national resolve to rise up in unison against external conspiracy.

Mr. Al-Amin further explained that the prevailing strong values of perseverance and spirit of united endeavors would enable the Eritrean people to achieve lasting victory, and that the youths should demonstrate persistent commitment to the set national goals. He also answered questions by the participants of the meeting and called on them to make effective use of the educational and training opportunities in the country.
