Independence Day enthusiastically celebrated in several US cities and Cologne

Reports indicated that Eritrean communities in the US cities of Denver, Los Angeles and Charlotte, as well as Cologne, Germany, celebrated the 21st anniversary of Independence Day with patriotic zeal. They also expressed resolve to back up development undertakings in the Homeland. Asserting that the set national goals would continue to be achieved, they expressed readiness to put an end to external conspiracies.

Asmara, 23 May 2012 – Reports indicated that Eritrean communities in the US cities of Denver, Los Angeles and Charlotte, as well as Cologne, Germany, celebrated the 21st anniversary of Independence Day with patriotic zeal. The Eritrean communities in Los Angeles and Charlotte city said that Eritrean independence was ensured through unparalleled sacrifice in life, and that Independence Day is an occasion for community members to renew their pledge to reinforce resistance against hostile external agendas.
