Central region: Independence Day anniversary colorfully marked through active community participation
The inhabitants of 13 Administrative areas in the Central region yesterday colorfully marked the 21st Independence Day anniversary through active community participation. Receptions and cultural shows also featured in the day-long celebrations.
Asmara , 24 May 2012 – The inhabitants of 13 Administrative areas in the Central region yesterday colorfully marked the 21st Independence Day anniversary through active community participation. Receptions and cultural shows also featured in the day-long celebrations.
Indicating that they have made adequate preparations for the events marking Independence Day, a number of the participants explained that the Day is an occasion when the citizenry renew their pledge to honor the trust of martyrs and expressed determination to back up national development endeavors.
Participants of the community get-together also indicated that a bright future lies ahead of the nation, and that the Eritrean people would sustain their staunch resistance against the conspiracies of enemy quarters, and thereby build a prosperous and dignified nation.
