Gash-Barka region: Endeavors underway to better equip medical service institutions

The Health Ministry’s branch office in Gash-Barka region disclosed that it is exerting endeavors to better equip medical service institutions in the region with a view to ensuring service quality. Tesenei, 29 May, 2012 – The Health Ministry’s branch office in Gash-Barka region disclosed that it is exerting endeavors to better equip medical service institutions in the region with a view to ensuring service quality.

Mr. Gilai Kahsai, head of medical service in the branch office, explained that the process of enhancing service quality was implemented through developing human resource and improving equipments. He further indicated that new ambulance service, laboratory equipments and installations of solar panels in remote areas are among the factors that enhanced service quality in the region.

Mr. Gilai called on the local inhabitants to practice judicious utilization of the available medical service facilities in the region.
