President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni arrives in Asmara on official visit

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda arrived in Asmara today on a three-day official visit to Eritrea.

Asmara, 29 May, 2012 – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni of Uganda arrived in Asmara today on a three-day official visit to Eritrea.

On arrival at Asmara International Airport, the Ugandan leader was accorded warm welcome by President Isaias Afwerki. The welcoming ceremony also involved salute of the Guard of Honor.

During his stay, he would hold talks with President Isaias as regards enhancing bilateral relations and on regional and international issues of mutual interest to both countries.
