Conducive environment being created for the development of academic and professional capacities of youths, say Engel inhabitants

The inhabitants of Engel said that they would exert endeavors to create conducive environment for the enhancement of academic and professional capacities among youths. They made the pledge on the occasion of Student-Week conducted recently in the locality.

Massawa, 4 June 2012 – The inhabitants of Engel said that they would exert endeavors to create conducive environment for the enhancement of academic and professional capacities among youths. They made the pledge on the occasion of Student-Week conducted recently in the locality.

Commending the Government’s commitment to ensure social justice in every corner of the country, the parents further indicated that the Student-Week event is playing vital role in promoting sports and cultural activities, combating harmful customs and bad habits, as well as shaping student attitudes.

Indicating that the available educational facilities in the locality have become a springboard to increased female participation, Mr. Omar Meyahdar and Ms. Asha Abdalla, among the inhabitants, equally expressed satisfaction with the Student-Week event.

Commending the popular participation demonstrated in the Student-Week, Mr. Geas Adem, Administrator of the locality, expressed conviction that such program is a good opportunity to nurture national and cultural values in the minds of the students and thereby build their capacity.

Engel Administrative area is located around 160 Km. south-east of Massawa.
