Exchange of higher studies scholarships would take place between Eritrea and Sudan in line with the agreement reached on January 31 and May 25 this year in the cities of Khartoum and Asmara respectively between the Eritrean Ministry of Education and the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Studies and Research.
Asmara, 5 June 2012 – Exchange of higher studies scholarships would take place between Eritrea and Sudan in line with the agreement reached on January 31 and May 25 this year in the cities of Khartoum and Asmara respectively between the Eritrean Ministry of Education and the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Studies and Research.
The contents of the agreement relate to joint ventures as regards offering Masters and PhD scholarships, undertaking scientific research, supply of research resources, swop of research outcomes and expertise, as well as conducting seminars and workshops.
It is to be recalled that the accord concluded on 25 May 2012 was signed at Asmara Palace Hotel by Mr. Semere Rusom, the Minister of Education, and his Sudanese counterpart, Prof. Khemis Kajo Kunda, Minister of Higher Studies and Research.
