Various programs being implemented with a view to improving socio-economic life of war-disabled veterans

The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) indicated that various programs are being implemented with a view to improving socio-economic life and academic, as well as professional capacity of members. This was discussed on the occasion of a meeting it held with members in Keren.

Keren, 6 June 2012 – The Eritrean National War-disabled Veterans Association (ENWVA) indicated that various programs are being implemented with a view to improving socio-economic life and academic, as well as professional capacity of members. This was discussed on the occasion of a meeting it held with members in Keren.

Explaining that the ENWVA would never cease to collaborate with its members, Mr. Gebrebirhan Eyasu, Chairman of the ENWVA, called on members to engage in convenient careers and make effective use of micro-credit. He further indicated that the Association is assisting members through artificial limbs and eye glasses, and that the Association members could improve their livelihood through getting engaged in the businesses of carpentry, metal work, bakery and fuel distribution.

Mr. Dawit Gebrekristos, head of the ENWVA branch in Anseba region, called on the members to play significant role of hard work among their communities.

Mr. Gebrebirhan called on administrative offices and other institutions to collaborate with the war-disables veterans.
