Youth students in Agordat city expressed readiness to back up the national development drive. The youths numbering 210 said that they would voluntarily engage in afforestation activities and assisting families of martyrs in their spare time, especially during the summer. Ismael Mohammed Ibrahim and Beyene Asgedom said that they treasure the nation’s cultural values and would diligently tackle the anti-Eritrea psychological war being resorted on the part of enemy quarters.

Yonatan Gebrezgi and Nakfa Andetsion on their part expressed satisfaction with various training courses being provided to them.

Mr. Zerisenai Tesfai, head of the NUEYS branch in Gash-Barka region, called on pertinent governmental bodies and stake holders to play due role in shaping industrious youths. He further explained that more endeavors would be exerted by the Union to enhance the capacity of the youth in the region.
