Gash-barka regional Administration organizes training course for its staff in bookkeeping

Staff members of Gash-barka regional Administration who have been attending training course in bookkeeping graduated recently. Barentu, 9 June 2012 – Staff members of Gash-barka regional Administration who have been attending training course in bookkeeping graduated recently.

During the graduation ceremony, Mr. Atewebirhan Gebru, head of human resource development in the regional office, indicated that the training course which was given to cashiers in various sub-zonal administrative offices was organized in line with the Administrative region’s commitment to ensure service quality through reinforcement of skill. He further explained that another training course has been given to 20 staff members of the regional office in line with the purpose of establishing wide-area network system among branch offices of ministries and other government bodies. Participants of the training expressed conviction that the course is helpful in their career.

Mr. Mohammed Hamd, Administrator of Gash-Barka region, said that a number of training courses would be organized in phases to ensure effective management in the region. He also called on the beneficiaries of the training course to translate into deeds the knowledge they have acquired, and thereby ensure positive outcome in their career.
