Ashera dam would contribute in alleviating water supply problem

The dam  being built in Sequar, Ashera  administrative area, would have big contribution in alleviating water supply problem of the inhabitants and animals and for the success of development programs, the inhabitants explained.

Ashera, 10 June 2012- The dam  being built in Sequar, Ashera  administrative area, would have big contribution in alleviating water supply problem of the inhabitants and animals and for the success of development programs, the inhabitants explained.

Mr. Rikab Yassin expressing his satisfaction on the efforts being exerted to improve the livelihood of the inhabitants indicated that with the completion of the Ashera dam they would be engaged in vegetable cultivation.

Mr. Reda’e Arbed and Mr. Adlan Balwai on their part explained that the inhabitants are working hard for the success of development programs in their area and that all their problems would alleviated with the completion of the dam.

Mr. Gergis Abraha, administrator of Ashera administrative area, indicated that more than 100 people are engaged daily in the construction of the dam and that 85% of the construction is completed. He also noted that after completion and holding enough water 600 hectares of land could be cultivated through the dam.
