Asmara, 12 June 2012 – The Eritrean community members in Las Vegas city, USA, expressed readiness to strengthen resistance against external conspiracies. They made the pledge during a meeting they held on June 6 and 7.

The community members conducted extensive discussion regarding the objective situation in the Homeland and the Horn of Africa region in general and lauded the socio-economic and political progress being registered in the country by the Eritrean people and their leadership, reports indicated.

Noting that education is the sustainable means of attaining higher level of development, they further called on youths in the Diaspora to be resourceful and uphold their national and cultural values.

The community members put forth views on various issues and said that they are as ever ready to back the national development drive.
